It’s a classic superhero show, but main character,Barry Allen, has his demons. His mother’s murder and his father’s wrongful conviction for the murder pushes Barry to find out what really happened that night. He becomes a forensic scientist who has an extreme interest in scientific inventions.

When Barry Allen is hit with lightning that is caused by a particle accelerator explosion, he wakes up from a coma to find that he has super speed. He is not the only one who has gained powers from the particle accelerator. Many of the others are using their newfound powers for evil, and Barry Allen decides to put his new powers to good use.

He prevents villains from attacking the innocent while continuing to uncover the mystery of his mother’s murder. Flashing through history and villains, Barry Allen experiences heartbreak and newfound love and alliances extending from Supergirl to the Arrow. The show has it all: love, action, mystery, comedy, friendship and science fiction. Currently on Season 3, it airs on CW at 8:00 pm on Tuesdays and if you need to catch up, Netflix has the previous two seasons. This show will leave you breathless for more.
