On the 16th of October the seventh graders left on a extraordinary surfing trip to San Diego for four nights and five days. The teachers that went along with the trip were Ms. Logue, Coach Stauffer, and Coach Abram.

On the day they left they took a bus to their destination. When they got off their three- hour bus ride the kids set down their bags and went straight to an orientation. After the orientation the kids found their way to the cabins where they slept. The boys had two cabins and the girls had one.

On this trip the kids did all kind of cool things. Some of the things that they did was learn to surf and they had instructors who helped them. The kids also did some things that helped the environment.  For example they did a beach clean up. They also competed in sand-castle building contests and kayaked. The kids also had free time to do things that they wanted.

On the trip the kids ate in the cafeteria. They ate many things but mostly  casseroles. The kids ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the cafeteria. To motivate the kids to get a special drink they had to drink three cups of water before they could getting one. Some of the kids say that the kids that the chocolate milk is marvelous.

The purpose of this trip was to teach the kids how to surf and had time to bond with each other. Ms. Logue said that it was lots of fun. The kids say that the best part of the trip was surfing and free time.
